Purple Loafers

A small rack, mostly suede and synthetic suede, mostly women's. Purple runs from a deep plum that behaves like a neutral to a bright violet that certainly does not.

The deep one and the bright one

A dark plum in suede sits with gray, navy and denim almost as easily as burgundy does, and it is the version we would suggest for a first pair.

A bright violet is an accent and should be treated as one. Plain outfit, nothing else with a strong color, and it works.

Purple depends heavily on the finish. In matte suede the color has depth. In a shiny finish it can turn synthetic-looking, and that is worth checking on the pair before you order.
