    Stand barefoot on a sheet of paper, mark your heel and your longest toe, then measure the distance between the two marks: that is your real foot length. Then match that number to the size chart: a size 4 US runs 8.7 in (22 cm) and a size 11.5 US runs 10.4 in (26.5 cm), and every size in between adds about half a centimeter. If you are between two sizes, go with the larger one: a patent finish does not give at all, so it is better not to order snug. If they do not fit when you try them on, you can send them back unworn and in the original packaging within 14 days of delivery, with return shipping at your expense.

    How do I care for them?

    These loafers are made of patent leather, a shiny surface that cleans in two quick steps and does not forgive a knock. In the closet, give them a little room. Wipe with a soft damp cloth, then go over them right away with a second dry cloth: the shine comes straight back. No abrasive sponge and no solvent.
